Benjamin Casey Allin was a former director of the Port of Stockton. He wrote a piano score for his Sousa-like march in 1936. Maestro Jaffe arranged it for full orchestra and the Stockton Symphony premiered it 1/27/18 and also played it in 4/27/19.
And one other note: by a congressional decree in 1987, Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever is the official march of the USA.
